The Traxy Tyre Support system 18-02 consists out of 4 parts: the Tyre Support, HDRV Tube (or Mousse), Lube, and Rim-lock.
The Tyre Support is made out of a high-mechanical and temperature-stress resistant rubber with its own carcass. Its task is to create a barrier between itself and the tyre to keep unpressurised air between the two. That means that Tyre Support is in constant touch with the inners wall of the tyre. This unpressurized air between the tyre support and the tyre allows for maximum tyre-adaptability to the terrain which delivers immediate traction.
Inside the Tyre Support is the Traxy Tube or Mousse (available as an upgrade option). The pressure inside the Tube can be changed from 0,5 up to 2,2 bar, depending on the terrain, weight, and riding style.
Traxy Lube prevents rip-off of the valve stem and reduces friction, increasing the life-span of the Tube or Mousse.
The Traxy Rim-lock squeezes both the Tyre Support and the tyre to the rim.
The Traxy Tyre Support System 18-02 is designed for off-road use only, ideally, extreme-enduro. It fits all enduro tyres that are suitable for a 2.15-18″ rim.
